Cody Galaher is the Managing Attorney for the Galaher Law Firm in Franklin, Tennessee. Cody has several years of experience in Civil Litigation representing individuals and businesses as plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts across all of middle Tennessee. He also has considerable experience in Wills & Estate Planning, prosecuting Personal Injury & Insurance claims, and representing Business Organizations.

After law school Cody was chosen to serve as a Judicial Law Clerk in the chambers of a trial court Judge and for the Mississippi Court of Appeals. He then began his practice in Tennessee with a large nation-wide Plaintiff’s firm and has since gained years of experience successfully representing his clients. Cody’s civil litigation cases have ranged from simple automobile negligence claims to complex commercial disputes against State and Federal entities. In addition to litigation, Cody also enjoys organizing corporations and forming LLCs for his clients, and regularly assists them with registering and enforcing their service and trademarks for their businesses and brands.

A significant portion of Cody’s practice is dedicated to Civil & Commercial Litigation, Criminal Defense, Probate & Estate matters, Real Property disputes, Bankruptcy, and a corollary of Family Law and Domestic areas that include Paternity & Custody matters, Adoptions, Conservatorships, and Divorce. Cody’s wife Elizabeth is a third generation school teacher and they live together in Franklin along with their beautiful newborn daughter, Leighton.

Jessica Prater is a member of the firm’s litigation section. Her practice involves civil and commercial litigation in areas of business torts, breach of contract claims, and real estate. She represents businesses and individuals in disputes and litigation. Jessica also counsels artists, entertainers, developers, landowners, and entrepreneurs in matters involving business formation, structuring, brand development, and contract matters.

Prior to joining GALAHER LAW firm, Jessica received her law degree from Belmont College of Law where she served on the Belmont Health Law Journal and she earned her bachelor’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University.  Jessica grew up in East Tennessee as an accomplished and decorated competitive swimmer and before law school she worked in the film industry where she had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects in Savannah, GA; London, England; and in Turks and Caicos Islands. Jessica and her husband, Grant, live within Franklin, TN with their plucky Australian Shepherd, Oliver.
